Tell us what we got wrong

This is an archive, not a shop. Nothing here is for sale and nobody is going to try to sell you anything. What we want is better information.

Corrections, cars, and questions

Write about anything on the site. If you are correcting a specification, a sentence on where your information comes from is worth more than the correction itself — it is what lets us check it properly rather than swapping one unsourced claim for another.

If you are about to buy one and want a second opinion on what you are looking at, that is a fair thing to ask too. We will tell you what we would check. We will not tell you what it is worth.

Especially welcome

Three things worth writing in about

A correctionAnything on the spec sheet that does not match a source you trust.
Your carPhotographs and history, especially of standard or well-documented examples.
Workshop knowledgeWhat actually fails, what it costs to put right, and what the fix should look like.
Before you write

How this works

Will my car appear on the site?

Only if you say it can. Nothing sent in is published without asking first, and a photograph shared for reference stays a reference unless you tell us otherwise.

Do you value cars or broker sales?

No. There is no valuation service here and no commercial arrangement with anyone selling these cars. If you need a figure, ask somebody who is qualified to give you one.

What happens to a correction?

It gets checked against a source before anything changes. If it holds up, the page is amended. If we cannot verify it either way, the claim comes off the site rather than staying there unsupported.
